My Background
I have 30+ years experience tutoring individuals and small groups. Tutoring is available for all levels of secondary mathematics, from Algebra to Calculus. I am a former math teacher and member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and I possess all requirements for secondary math licensure in New Mexico.
Tutoring Methods
Remote Sessions - $40/hour
Two years of proctoring medical student exams through Zoom has given me great insight about online methods that work with learners. I offer synchronous techniques that focus on the student work and let me provide immediate feedback and guidance. Many times available.
In-Person Sessions (limited availability) - $50/hour
In-person tutoring is still available when the technology continues to be a barrier to learning. Times are limited.
Personalized Lessons
One-on-one tutoring to offer personalized instruction. Every time.
For some students, struggles with mathematics have been routine, and my clients are working through familiar challenges.
For other students, difficulties are new and unexpected, following the introduction of a new topic or an extended absence from school.
We make it work for all skill levels.

Allen Veitch
I'm a tired-but-happy father of 12-year-old twins. When I am not chauffeuring kids to soccer or volleyball, I enjoy radio-controlled cars and good coffee. Tutoring really is my passion, and I would probably do it for free if my wife allowed me... and coffee were cheaper.
